  • Do you feel overwhelmed, scattered, or stuck? These may be signs that your body's energy is blocked or imbalanced. Polarity Therapy is a gentle and non-invasive approach that can help correct and enhance the flow of life force energy throughout your body. A Polarity Therapy session is designed to be restorative, bringing fresh and revitalizing energy to your body, leaving you feeling clear and full of vitality.

Polarity Therapy is a form of energy work that focuses on the invisible part of the human energy system. During a session, clients can expect to remain fully clothed and deeply relaxed on a comfortable massage table.

To plan each session accordingly, the therapist will gather information from the client before the session to gain insight and get a "feel" for the client. Polarity Therapy uses gentle acupressure on energy points around the body to shift and unblock stagnant energy that is no longer serving the client.

By tapping into the parasympathetic relaxation response, Polarity Therapy can help even the most tense clients fully relax. It can bring clients to the theta state of mind, just before actual sleeping occurs, allowing them to feel as if they are floating. Clients often report feeling light, energetic, and refreshed after their sessions.

  • Reiki is a type of hands-on healing that has been practiced by Japanese therapists for centuries. This energy work is based on the belief that it can enhance the flow of life force energy throughout the body, promoting relaxation and balance. Many people find Reiki to be incredibly soothing and rejuvenating, as it can help to refresh the body, mind, and spirit.

The word "Reiki" is made up of two Japanese words: "rei," which means "universal life force," and "ki," which means "energy." Reiki practitioners believe that this energy flows through all living things and that it can be channeled to promote healing and balance.

Reiki is a gentle and non-invasive therapy that is designed to promote relaxation and reduce stress. It is believed to be effective in treating a wide range of physical and emotional conditions, including chronic pain, anxiety, depression, and insomnia. Many people also report feeling a sense of spiritual connection or renewal after a Reiki session.

During a Reiki session, your therapist will use their hands to lightly touch or hover over different parts of the body, with the intention of increasing the flow of life force energy through the body. The recipient of the therapy will typically lie down or sit comfortably, fully clothed. Your therapist may also use different hand positions to focus on specific areas of the body, such as the head, shoulders, or feet.

  • Reflexology is focused on applying pressure to reflex areas on the feet, hands, ears, and head that correlate with organs and other parts of the body. Applying pressure to these reflex areas allows the body to surrender to a deep state of relaxation while stimulating the body’s energy field to promote better overall health. Reflexology treatments reduce symptoms associated with poor digestion, migraines, anxiety, depression, sleep deprivation, stress, asthma, and many more physical symptoms.

Somatic Trauma Release

  • Chronic pain and long-term health imbalances that don't respond well to medical treatments are often a result of unresolved trauma. Traumatic events occur in a person's life, and they may not be equipped with the skills or tools at the time to work through the full impact that the incident had on them. Emotions and energies get stuck and trapped in the body and can be an underlying contributing factor to complicated issues in the tissues.

Numerous modalities, including craniosacral therapy, Maya Abdominal Therapy, somatic experiencing, and EFT, can be incorporated into sessions to help balance and regulate the vagus nerve, thus calming the body, depending on what is called for at the time. There will also be suggestions for various self-care tools and tips that you can do in between sessions to help work through challenging situations, so you can feel empowered in times of stress.

  • During a craniosacral therapy session, you can expect a gentle, hands-on approach with light touch to assess and manipulate the craniosacral system, which includes the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord. The therapist will likely place their hands on various parts of your body to detect subtle movements and rhythms, and then apply gentle pressure or manipulation to help release any restrictions or tension. You may experience deep relaxation, subtle shifts in your body's sensations, and a sense of overall well-being during and after the session. It's important to communicate any sensations or feelings with the therapist throughout the session.

  • During a Maya abdominal therapy session, you can expect a gentle, non-invasive approach focused on realigning the internal organs, particularly the uterus, in order to improve their function and overall health. The therapist will likely use various techniques such as massage, gentle manipulation, and visualization to address any imbalances or blockages in the abdominal area. They may also provide lifestyle and dietary recommendations to support the healing process. It's important to communicate any concerns or discomfort with the therapist before and during the session.

  • Somatic Experiencing (SE) is a body-oriented approach to healing trauma that focuses on helping individuals release the effects of trauma stored in the body through awareness of bodily sensations and gentle techniques to regulate the nervous system. During SE sessions, the therapist helps the client gradually reconnect with their body's sensations, facilitating the discharge of trapped energy associated with traumatic events. This approach aims to restore balance to the nervous system and promote overall well-being.

  • EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Techniques, commonly known as tapping. It's a therapeutic approach that combines elements of traditional Chinese medicine, psychology, and exposure therapy. During an EFT session, the individual taps on specific meridian points on the body while focusing on a particular issue or emotion they want to address. The tapping is accompanied by verbalizing statements related to the issue, which helps to reduce the emotional intensity associated with it. EFT is often used to alleviate stress, anxiety, phobias, and other emotional challenges by promoting relaxation and reprogramming negative thought patterns.

  • Conditions that show improvements from these types of sessions:

-Fibromyalgia and all types of chronic pain or unknown origin

    -Migraines, headaches, and TMJ

SKINCARE

  • Custom Facial is a facial tailored to the client's specific skin concerns and needs. It typically involves a combination of cleansing, exfoliation, extractions, and a mask. The esthetician may also incorporate massage and moisturizing products to leave the skin looking and feeling refreshed.

  • Express Facial is a shorter version of a custom facial that focuses on a specific area of concern, such as the eyes or lips. It typically involves cleansing, exfoliation, and a mask. This type of facial is ideal for those who are short on time but still want to give their skin a quick pick-me-up.

  • LED light therapy facial is a non-invasive skincare treatment that uses light-emitting diode (LED) technology to improve the appearance of the skin. The treatment involves exposing the skin to specific wavelengths of light, which can help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, improve skin texture and tone, and promote overall skin health.

  • A microcurrent facial is a non-invasive facial treatment that uses low-level electrical currents to stimulate the muscles and tissues of the face. The electrical currents used in microcurrent facials are similar in nature and frequency to the natural electrical currents produced by the body. The treatment is designed to improve facial tone and contour, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and improve overall skin health and appearance.

  • Chemical Peel removes the outermost layer of skin, revealing fresh, new skin underneath. This type of facial can help to improve the appearance of acne scars, sun damage, and fine lines and wrinkles.

Express Peel is a milder version of a chemical peel that is designed to be gentler on the skin. It typically involves a lower concentration of the solution and a shorter treatment time. This type of facial is ideal for those who are new to chemical peels or have sensitive skin.

Enzyme Treatment uses natural enzymes to exfoliate the skin and promote cell turnover. This type of facial is gentle and suitable for all skin types. It can help to brighten the skin, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and improve overall texture and tone.
